Common faults of computer keyboard
Fault 1: The key cannot be popped up
The main reason for this kind of failure is the poor quality of the keyboard.
Solution: Restore the stuck key to its original position. The best way is to remove the key cap and simply handle it, such as replacing the spring.

Fault 2: The internal circuit of the keyboard is faulty
The problem with the internal circuit of the keyboard is that two or three letters appear at the same time when pressing a key when entering text, or a row of keys cannot be output.
Fault cause: The circuit inside the keyboard is short circuited or open circuited.
Solution: Disassemble the keyboard to clean the inside of the keyboard, or find the break point and weld it.

Fault 3: interface problem
This kind of fault phenomenon shows that the system prompts K “e-board error or no keyboard present” when starting up, or the system crashes directly after starting up
Cause of failure: The keyboard is not connected properly, the pin of the keyboard interface is bent, and the keyboard or motherboard interface is damaged.

Solution: ① Pay attention to whether the three indicators at the upper right corner of the keyboard flash once when starting up. If they do not, check the connection of the keyboard. ② Then observe whether the interface is damaged. Use a multimeter to measure the keyboard interface on the motherboard. If the voltage of one of cores 1, 2, and 5 in the interface is 0 V relative to that of core 4, it indicates that there is a breakpoint in the interface circuit. Find the breakpoint and weld it again. ③ If the keyboard interface on the motherboard is normal, it means the keyboard is damaged and replaced with a new one.
